Reviews
Stopped in by to try this coffee shop due to the 4.5 rating. Short of expectations, I ordered an oatmeal milk latte. The barista was either having a bad morning or just not friendly. When my beverage was ready, the other barista just pointed at my drink when I made eye contact. Oat milk steams the best but this was watered down and bland. The shot(s) of espresso was weak. A latte for $6.98 ? No thanks. This not a proper latte.
Perfect spot for a quick bite or catch up with a loved one/friend. Cute interior and friendly staff.
We have visited a couple of times and enjoyed each visit. Coffee is always excellent. The lavender latte and espresso are favorites. For food, we enjoy the pancakes and any biscuit sandwich. Everything looks great and fresh.
One of the better tasting coffee shops in Dallas. Pricey, but worth it.
I usually order a vanilla latte with oat milk. If I get it hot I spend the extra $ to add the honey whip on top! 🤌🏼 FYI if you like your coffee HOT (not iced) I suggest you tell them when ordering. They normally make them warm (not hot HOT) so be aware. The staff has always been super nice and not intimidating.
Guess you have to be a white male to get any service here. Definitely not a welcoming atmosphere for hispanic people. Please if your a minority, do not spend your hard earned money here! Service is horrible. Will not be coming back.
It's a cute shop. Coffee was good. Like that they offer special seasonal drinks. The vanilla latte was really good, not just your typical plain vanilla. The honey whip was amazing! Food was good to. Our breakfast sandwich was just greasy.
Super duper crowded on a Saturday morning but most importantly, good coffee. I had the Vanilla Latte with Oat milk and it did not disappoint in flavor. Minus one star: latte was "just" warm not hot. So I would suggest to request ahead of time if you like your coffee hot like I do.
A shot of espresso, a pour over, and a sparkling water to cleanse the palette. Probably the smoothest, most delicious shot of espresso I’ve ever had. The typically bitter bite that comes in most shots wasn’t there. It was smooth but still had a little tinge or bite at the end of the shot.
Expertly crafted Kalita Wave-based pour over was excellent, smooth, lightly sweet and fruity. I got the Ethiopian and would buy a bag of beans if I didn’t have more coffee than I could drink in a reasonable amount of time at the house already. One of my favorite pour overs in Dallas.
Great, friendly staff. One gentleman offered the sparkling water free of charge.
A very cool and trendy place. I saw it on the map today and thought... Why not? Even the bathrooms are interesting, hence the picture. It is truly a local shop - locally sourced coffee and milk from a dairy in McGregor, TX. They also serve food, meats, and beer here, though I didn't try any. There are two downsides, hence the four star review. The prices are pretty darn high - they charged me just over $5 for a pour over! Secondly, there's not much seating. I imagine on a busier day I would have had to just leave. Worth checking out, but a bit pricey, especially if you can't stay for a bit to enjoy your brew.
